I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the church. I just came on staff two weeks ago to work with the missions team as the Local Outreach Director. My role as Director will be to identify pockets of pain in the greater Mt Pleasant community, where we as a body can partner with various groups and first and foremost share the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ as we meet the needs of the community. Equipping teams in sharing the gospel will be paramount to our success as an outreaching/ missional church.
Lately I have been burdened and spurred on to pray as I have learned more about the reality of God’s wrath.
So often we focus on God grace, mercy, and love – And we should because as believers we are eternal recipients of these things. However, we cannot neglect to remember that our God is eternally holy. As sinners we deserve to receive eternal punishment for our offenses against the One who is eternally holy. We deserve His eternal wrath.
